Tall, slender, elegant, the birches always inspired me. In this impressionist palette knife oil painting I imagined the moment of sunrise in the wood when the rhythm of the lightened areas and the shadows create a wonderful and painterly interplay.
This modern impressionist palette knife oil painting is from my ongoing series ''Curved horizons''. This series contain landscapes, cityscapes or seascapes with curved horizon line. During the last years this was and remains one of my ''obsessions''. :) I like to paint flowers fields as they would be blooming, flowering planets or ascending hills full of flowers or trees...
