Description
ORIGINAL TEXTURED IMPASTO PALETTE KNIFE OIL PAINTING ON STRETCHED CANVAS ( SQUARE FORMAT ), SIZES : 20 X 20 CM ( 8 X 8 INCHES ), DEPTH - 2.50 CM ( 1 INCH )
POPPIES ROUNDSCAPE MYSTIC NIGHT is a textural impressionist impasto palette knife oil painting from my BLOOMING PLANETS series. I painted this landscape into a semi abstract manner, in impasto technique with bold, explosive palette knife strokes that create those almost sculptural textures of vibrant, saturated, colorful oil paints that I love so much.
This modern impressionist palette knife oil painting is from my ongoing series ''Curved horizons''. This series contain landscapes, cityscapes or seascapes with curved horizon line. During the last years this was and remains one of my ''obsessions''. :) I like to paint flowers fields as they would be blooming, flowering planets or ascending hills full of flowers or trees...
