EIFFEL TOWER PARIS MAGIC SUNSET ON AVENUE SILVESTRE DE SACY is a custom commissioned palette knife oil painting. The story behind this painting is really cool. In November I was contacted by the girl friend of the photographer Ken Francis who wished to make him a surprise gift for Christmas. I just loved her idea to create a painting inspired by by one of his wonderful Paris photos.
The subject of this painting is one of the most beautiful spots in Paris, the corner between Avenue de la Bourdonnais and Avenue Silvestre de Sacy. From here Eiffel Tower can be seen in all it's splendor. The sunset light is simply magical when is playing on gorgeous wrought-iron balconies and the beautiful regency houses.
