This joyful modern impressionist painting presents a bouquet of three vibrant sunflowers painted into an abstract manner in impasto technique with bold, explosive palette knife strokes that create those almost sculptural textures of oil paint that I love so much.
This palette knife oil painting is part of my ongoing series ''Flowers on round table''. I started this series of floral still lifes years ago and it is a recurrent theme for me over the time.
